Internship Programme

Sarawak TROPI is welcoming students of public and private institutions of higher learning in Malaysia to carry out their industrial training at Sarawak Tropical Peat Research Institute.

Eligibility Requirements

Students who are in the following fields may apply for placement in the programme:
Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Agriculture, Biology, Geology, Forestry, Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, Environment Chemistry or Engineering.

How to apply.

1. Enclose the following document:
   • Cover letter from faculty
   • Resume with passport-sized photograph attached
   • Copy of academic transcript *certified true copy
   • Copy of NRIC (both sides) *certified true copy
2. Send completed application and attachments to:

3. Applications containing false or incomplete information are considered void.
4. Official replies will be sent to the faculty.
5. Students who are offered placement in the Industrial Training Programme must confirm
   acceptance 15 working days from receipt of the offer letter.
